To Whom it may concern:

I just wanted to say that I was in Louisville staying with friends for the Kentucky Derby. The week long festivities were fun and I had the pleasure of having dinner in your restaurant. I had never been to Cheddar’s before and I was very satisfied with your menu selection and the quality of food that you serve.

However, although I was pleased with the above mentioned I was also very much impressed with my server. Her name was “PAM”. I am unsure of her last name but the description I would have to use is she wore a big smile and had blond hair. Those were her attributes. The reason for this letter is to personally thank her for the kindness and great service that I received from Pam. I feel that she went out of her way to a make sure that my visit to the restaurant was sure to make me want to return.

When a person travels and has to eat in restaurant all the time it can become very boring even with the conversation. I did notice that the great service was not just given to me. She treated all her customers the same. This little girl seemed to have a big heart and wanted to make everyone feel comfortable and make sure they enjoyed their dinner. Glasses were kept full, she returned to the table numerous times to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The training program that Pam went through was a plus because you can feel that this young lady cares how her customers feel and the quality of that is presented to them by the meal. She in intelligent and could carry on a conversation of any level. She was very polite and conscientious.

You really should consider her for a management position because she seems to possess those qualities it takes to be a good manager. Once again, thank you “Pam” for making my evening at Cheddar’s a dining experience.
